Another outstanding achievement has been made by Aksel Immanuel Sianturi, a student of Pelita Global Mandiri Elementary School, who successfully secured a Merit Award at the Fermat Mathematical Olympiad (FMO) 2024. The competition, held on January 11, 2025, in Vietnam, brought together some of the brightest young minds in the field of mathematics from across the world.
Fermat Mathematical Olympiad (FMO) is an annual international mathematics competition organized by Fermat Education Vietnam, an official organization responsible for hosting various prestigious international Olympiads in Vietnam. The competition aims to challenge students with complex mathematical problems while encouraging analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and mathematical creativity.
Aksel’s success in this event reflects his dedication, perseverance, and passion for mathematics. Competing against some of the best young mathematicians globally, he demonstrated remarkable skill and determination. His achievement brings great pride to Pelita Global Mandiri Elementary School and serves as motivation for other students to pursue excellence in mathematics.
