On August 30, 2024, Pelita Global Mandiri Kindergarten took 139 students, accompanied by 27 teachers, on an educational small visit to Juice Masaki Zambrud. The visit aimed to enhance the students’ understanding of healthy living by learning about different types of fruits and the process of making fresh juice. This engaging trip was designed to support classroom learning by giving students a hands-on experience in a real-world setting.
During the visit, the students explored how various fruits contribute to a healthy diet and observed the step-by-step process of juice preparation. The experience not only taught them about nutrition but also encouraged them to adopt healthy habits from a young age. This small visit is part of the school’s broader efforts to promote active learning beyond the classroom and to make educational experiences more tangible and relatable for the students.
Through this activity, the students were able to connect their lessons on healthy living with practical, everyday applications, reinforcing the importance of nutrition in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
