On February 13, 2025, Pelita Global Mandiri Junior High School hosted an exciting Entrepreneurship Screen Printing T-Shirt Making activity that gave students the opportunity to learn both creative and business skills. The event, held at the school’s sport field, involved all students and focused on teaching them the basics of entrepreneurship while allowing them to explore the creative process of designing and producing t-shirts.
During the activity, students were introduced to the art of screen printing, a popular technique for transferring designs onto fabric. They learned how to prepare screens, mix ink, and apply their unique designs to t-shirts. The hands-on experience not only helped students develop practical skills in screen printing but also gave them insight into how creative ideas can be transformed into products.
In addition to the artistic process, the students delved into the business side of entrepreneurship, learning about branding, pricing, and marketing. They discussed how to turn their screen-printed t-shirts into a small business and worked together to create their own designs, ensuring quality control while also brainstorming ways to sell their products.
Atika, the owner of Nabawi Clothing, served as the vendor and speaker for the event. She guided the students through the screen printing process, sharing her knowledge of the fashion industry and entrepreneurship.
Ms. Ima, the principal of Pelita Global Mandiri Junior High, shared her thoughts on the activity:

The event was a perfect blend of creativity and business, providing students with a unique opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship while having fun making personalized t-shirts.
