On October 9, 2024, Pelita Global Mandiri Junior High School organized a Scout activity aimed at instilling discipline and building leadership skills among its students. The event took place on the school grounds and involved 73 students from grades 7, 8, and 9, who participated enthusiastically in various exercises designed to develop both individual and team skills.
The program included a series of activities such as marching drills (PPB), solving problem-based questions, and engaging in group games that emphasized teamwork and collaboration. These exercises were carefully curated to help students understand the importance of self-discipline, responsibility, and cooperation, which are core elements of the Scout movement.
Mr. Ade, who led the activities, praised the students for their active participation and noted how well the event had gone. He highlighted the positive impact that Scout training can have on students’ personal growth, stating, “This activity builds student independence and mental resilience. It also ran smoothly, which is a testament to the students’ commitment and enthusiasm.”
Through the Scout program, Pelita Global Mandiri Junior High continues to encourage its students to embrace leadership roles and develop a sense of responsibility towards themselves and others. This event was yet another step towards nurturing young minds to be disciplined and dependable leaders, equipped with practical skills that extend beyond the classroom.
