Pelita Global Mandiri Kindergarten held a heartwarming Heroes Day Celebration on November 15, 2024, in the school hall. This meaningful event was attended by 132 students from various classes, including PG, PreK Ant, PreK Bee, PreK Cricket, KG1 Apple, KG1 Banana, KG1 Cherry, KG1 Durian, KG2 Awesome, KG2 Brilliant, KG2 Creative, and KG2 Dazzling. Accompanied by their dedicated teachers, Ms. Yemima and Ms. Mida, the students participated in a series of engaging activities designed to introduce them to Indonesia’s national heroes and the values they stood for.

The Heroes Day Celebration was not just an ordinary event—it was a journey into history, where young learners were encouraged to explore the concepts of bravery, sacrifice, and love for the country in a fun and interactive way. The school aimed to make history come alive for the children by presenting stories of national heroes in a simple yet impactful manner, ensuring that even the youngest students could understand and appreciate their significance.
