Bekasi, 30 July 2026 – Pelita Global Mandiri welcomed the Cambridge School Visitation Team as part of the school visitation programme organised by Cambridge International Education. The visit marked an important stage in reviewing the implementation of the Cambridge curriculum while ensuring that international teaching and learning standards are consistently maintained throughout the school.
The visit was attended by Mr Dera Yornanda, Country Manager, Assessment & Qualifications, Cambridge International Education, together with Ms Priska Gratia Immanuelle, Area Manager for West Indonesia, Cambridge International Education Learning Resources. Their presence reflected a shared commitment to strengthening the partnership between Cambridge International Education and Pelita Global Mandiri in supporting the delivery of high-quality education and the holistic development of students.

Throughout the visit, the Cambridge team participated in a series of activities, beginning with a presentation on the school’s profile, educational philosophy, and the range of academic programmes developed by Pelita Global Mandiri. The team then conducted a school tour to gain first-hand insight into the learning environment, educational facilities, and the various support resources that contribute to an effective teaching and learning experience.

Classroom observations were also conducted to gain a deeper understanding of how the Cambridge curriculum is implemented in day-to-day teaching and learning. The Cambridge team reviewed the teaching approaches adopted by teachers, students’ active participation in the classroom, and the use of Cambridge Learning Resources as part of a learning ecosystem designed to develop students’ critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity.
In addition to the classroom observations, the visit provided a valuable opportunity for constructive discussions between Cambridge International Education and the management team and teaching staff of Pelita Global Mandiri. A range of topics, including best practices, teaching strategies, and opportunities for further academic programme development, formed part of the discussions, with the aim of further strengthening the quality of internationally benchmarked education at the school.
