Pelita Global Mandiri Kindergarten celebrated Indonesia’s Independence Day on August 21, 2024, with great excitement and participation from all students, ranging from Playgroup, Pre-K, KG1, to KG2. A total of 139 students, accompanied by 27 teachers, were involved in the festivities, which aimed to honor Indonesia’s heroes who have contributed to making the nation stronger and better.
Independence Day holds special significance for the Indonesian people, marking a historic moment every year on the 17th of August. The event at Pelita Global Mandiri was not only an opportunity for the children to learn about Indonesia’s history and the moral values associated with the country’s independence but also a chance for the students to develop their creativity and boost their confidence through various games and activities.
The celebration was designed with several key objectives in mind. First, it aimed to instill a sense of nationalism in the young students of Pelita Global Mandiri. Secondly, the event sought to promote sportsmanship among the children, encouraging them to engage in friendly competition with their peers. Lastly, the activities were intended to enhance the children’s self-confidence, providing them with a platform to showcase their talents and participate actively in the celebration.
The Independence Day event at Pelita Global Mandiri Kindergarten was a joyful occasion, focused on the growth and development of the students both academically and personally.
